Reaching out for help can be difficult at best. It takes strength to begin that search, especially when you may be struggling just to function in your everyday activities.

Friendly Psychology

tree-white-blueMy initial goal is to give you hope that healing is possible and within your reach, regardless of whether you work with myself or another therapist. As a Clinical Psychologist working primarily with mental health and emotional difficulties rooted in traumatic events, it is important to help you understand that our work will not change difficult situations of the past, however we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life that may be the byproduct of your thoughts and feelings that were influenced by those events.

My Approach

I approach each individual as having a unique set of experiences and beliefs that interact with their environment and physical selves in expressing helpful or unhelpful ways of perceiving themselves, their relations, the world they live in. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, my clients experience positive changes in current and long-standing patterns or negative perceptions, release of traumatic memories stores in the body, and changes in thinking, that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
