Providing individual and group psychotherapy to adults utilizing evidence based therapeutic interventions.
In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients individual needs to help attain the personal growth and healing they’re striving for.
I place a great deal of emphasis on creating and explaining the therapeutic alliance to my patients. They are provided with psychoeducation on the importance of this element in the healing process. It is the framework from which corrective emotional experience takes place.
I am highly trained in a variety of therapies and interventions including Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing therapy for PTSD (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy for Depression, Skills Training for Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR), Circle of Security (Parenting therapy), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. I utilize a variety of mind-body techniques. I am skilled in working with Veterans and their families as well as civilian populations.
I encourage you to set aside any judgment you may have about the “seriousness” of your own trauma that may be keeping you from getting the help you deserve. So many people, both civilian and military, have difficulty in initially coming to therapy as they judge their own trauma as “not as bad” as someone else’s. Your events affected you, and that is what matters. Whether from childhood issues, relationship issues, first responder events, combat experience, or sexual assault, all are welcome here.
